14th Amendment and Citizenship
According to the 14th amendment all persons born or naturalized in the United States. No state can take away or privileges to a U.S citizen, it also cannot deprive a citizen of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law. It sates that every citizen must be protected equally.
Steps to Becoming a Citizen
1. Must be 18 years of age and apply .
2. Live in the United States for 5 years and take citizen classes.
3. After Those 5 years you must take a citizen test.
4. Interview with Immigration official.
5. Take an Oath of Allegiance before a court.
